Proving once and for all that animal costumes can make almost any scene adorable, Coldplay and director Mat Whitecross unveiled their video for Mylo Xyloto single “Paradise” today, in which an elephant (or person in an elephant suit, I should add) escapes the zoo before going on a series of adventures. In the end, Chris Martin and the rest of the band cap off a set performing for an adoring crowd with their new tusk-adorned costumes in tow.
Filmed in South Africa and London, Whitecross manages to make what would be a simple, quirky take on the tune resonate a bit more here, particularly with the gorgeously shot nature scenes in Africa. Watch their official “Paradise” clip below:

The Stone Roses put rumors to rest today with a press conference in Manchester, England, announcing that they have officially reunited after 15 years apart and will be embarking on a world tour — complete with new songs — next year. June 29 and 30 of 2012 are currently booked for their first concerts since 1995 in their hometown’s Heaton Park, with more to-be-determined dates to follow.
