We’ve heard much from Frightened Rabbit for a spell — save for that awesome new EP last fall — but Scott Hutchison and the boys have been hard at work in the meantime. First up, they just finished a recording session for the forthcoming follow-up to The Winter of Mixed Drinks. Even more immediate than that, though, is a new tour documentary featuring footage culled from the Scottish band’s tour of their homeland’s stunning Highlands region. Per a new trailer for the project, the film will be dubbed simply Frightened Rabbit: Highlands Tour, and manages to meld behind-the-scenes moments, onstage performance, and the evocative scenery that surrounded the jaunt.
While the arrival date is unclear at this point (the caption reads “coming soon…”), we’ll keep an eye out for official word and update when details are available. For now, the clip above certainly has our interest piqued.
