Severed into two distinct parts with a chaotic meltdown around the 3:00 mark, Jason Pierce and Co. seem to be promising a follow-up to Songs in A&E that will make for yet another glowing highlight in the group’s ambitious, inimitable oeuvre. And if the high-octane energy here is any indication, these space-rock cadets are certainly fueled up and ready for launch.
