We saw Wilco perform a full live set comprised of tunes from their eighth studio LP, The Whole Love, as well as back catalog cuts for an hour-long webcast on Letterman’s Late Show last fall, but tonight they found time in their busy touring schedule for a stop on cable television. Celebrating the eve of their new iTunes session release, Jeff Tweedy and Co. performed twice for Conan O’Brien’s TBS crowd, once for a web-exclusive take on “Dawned On Me” and again for the official broadcast.
While the latter hasn’t aired yet, Team Coco have shared the former performance early. We’ll update with the second clip soon, but in the meantime, enjoy Nels Cline shredding on his double-neck guitar for a tight-knit rendition of their iTunes session’s opening track below. Update: We now have the aired segment, Wilco doing the The Whole Love‘s title track, as well.
