Not only are At the Drive-In set to reunite in 2012, but Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López’s other face-melting rock outfit, The Mars Volta, are ready to rock the new year, as well. Noctourniquet, their latest full-length, is ready for a March 27 launch date — complete with inspiration from The Godfathers, zombie-villain Solomon Grundy from the Superman comics, and Greek mythological figure Hyacinthus.
We’ll have to wait a bit for a first taste of this sure-to-be-epic follow-up to 2009’s Octahedron, but for now, check out some album artwork above and the full tracklist below.
