Before the end of 2012 — the year in which Amy Winehouse’s life was tragically cut short at only 27 — the great yet troubled soul singer‘s first posthumous release will see the light of day. Dubbed Lioness: Hidden Treasures, the set comes complete with cuts from her unfinished follow-up to Back to Black, unreleased recordings dating back to the Frank era, her duet with Tony Bennett, and this: a cover of 1963 chart-topper “Our Day Will Come.”
Today, an official video arrived for the tune, which features pro-shot footage of Winehouse spliced with performance scenes and a few photos. It’s a poignant, reverent nod to the late songstress yet the clip comes so soon after her passing that, in a way, it makes the whole loss feel even more surreal. Check it out below:
