Ryan Adams returned to Later… with Jools Holland tonight for his second appearance on the BBC in as many weeks, following a recent Songwriters’ Circle with Neil Finn and Janis Ian. For tonight’s performance, Adams brought out “Lucky Now,” the first song we heard off his latest album, Ashes & Fire, The performance was as heartfelt and pitch-perfect as we’ve come to expect from Adams, who also unleashed a poignant take on the tune for American audiences on Conan earlier this month.
