Patti Smith honored Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” with her own take over the summer and now the pair will appear alongside others on the tracklist to a forthcoming tribute album. Titled Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International, the set arrives on November 22, complete with new and previously released recordings by the aforementioned singers, as well as My Morning Jacket, Dave Matthews Band, Lucinda Williams, Rise Against, Sting, and — perhaps the most unlikely addition — “Tik Tok” singer Ke$ha.
Adele’s take on Time Out of Mind‘s “Make You Feel My Love” made the cut, though it has long been a fan favorite for the British singer ever since her stunning rendition was released on her debut album, 19.
Notably, Smith (aka the Godmother of Punk) and Ke$ha both chose the same Dylan tune for the set: “Drifter’s Escape.”
